Therapist's sensitivity as a tool for attunement

Therapist's sensitivity as a tool for attunement

Alexine Thompson-de Benoit

ICEEFT Trainer

Do you sometimes feel afraid of going deep with your clients in session? Are you worried you will get flooded and emotional and lose control of the session? And do you, as a consequence, stay a little bit on the surface, a little bit at a distance and in your head, so as to stay in control?

What if your sensitivity could be your super power for attunement?

In this two hour webinar, we will talk about the therapist's sensitivity as a powerful tool in EFT to connect with your clients and giving them the "feeling felt" experience that will allow them to co-regulate with you. We will look at videos and do short breakout room exercises to practice entering into our client's world as if it was our own, without losing ourselves in it, and learn to harness it as powerful tool for attunement, expressed via the therapist's sensitivity.
